Bicycle Advocates Warn City Bikeway Improvements Just a Start

Big changes are coming to the neighborhoods west of I-35 and south of Koenig Lane. After two years of public feedback and design tweaks, the Austin Transportation Department broke ground in October on the set of changes to the neighborhood bikeway routes in Hyde Park and adjacent neighborhoods. The 46th-47th Street & Bennett-Middle Fiskville Bikeway project is officially underway.
